the big ‘C’
Sunday, May 4th, 2008So it is said, C is for car, condo, career, cash, credit card, and….what else??!! COMMITMENT!!!
The one word that I am scared of,
the one word that I have always been avoiding,
the one word that I thought will bring me destruction to my purpose in life.
But I am wrong. So wrong.
An incident that lead me to a discussion with my friend,
and recalling the many incidents that happened in semester 2.
What an irony,
I thought I can concentrate better in my studies when I avoid all other ‘least important’ things,
in the end, sigh sigh…
I have unknowingly instill that bug in me, that it became a part of me!
Couldn’t control it, went out of hand,
everything I did, became commitment-less,
or so they say.
What good did I get in the end?
Nothing!
It’s time to renew my commitment to God,
and I suppose,
everything else will come together naturally
when the time comes.
